KPTO is always looking for volunteers to help out with a fundraiser and/or event.

If you haven't yet completed a Membership Form, download one here.  Complete the form and return it the school.

 

CORI Background Checks - All volunteers who will have any contact with students are required to complete an authorization form for a CORI background check. CORI checks are good for three years. If you have not completed an authorization form specifically for KIS or KES, please bring a picture ID to the office and a staff member will assist you.

 

******SPECIAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES******

Teacher Mini-Grants:

KPTO and the Kingston Education Foundation co-sponsored a Fall Gala in October, 2009.  Proceeds from this fundraiser were shared to benefit KIS and KES classroom teachers.  KPTO is looking to create an application process (including actual application, review/approval) to best utilize these funds.  Contact info@kingstonpto.com if you are interested in helping.

Box Tops®

This committee raises much needed funds for KPTO through the collection and redemption of Box Tops.  Volunteers are needed to help run school contests and prepare Box Tops for submission.  Please contact info@kingstonpto.com if you can lend a hand.

 

Kingston Elementary School (KES) Website Maintenance:

KES is looking for a parent volunteer to maintain its website (www.kes.mec.edu).  Anyone interested should email info@kingstonpto.com or call Principal Bartosiak at 781-585-3821.

 

Volunteers Needed for Go Green Team:

The Go Green Team was formed by a group of parents last year and became a committee of the KPTO in June ’09.  Volunteers are sought to participate on this Committee, which will be formulating short and long-term goals for conservation and recycling in the schools.  Anyone interested should email Leslie Ann at leslieann.mcgee@verizon.net.
